Day 7: Day at Sea
I love days at sea. And I love that the last day was at sea. This cruise was exhausting. We saw and did so much that it was great to have one relaxing day before heading home.
We spent the day relaxing by the pool.
Getting our last minute pictures with our favorite characters and recreating old photos from our first Disney cruise.
Doing a little bit of shopping in the gift shop.
Enjoying that last slice of late night pizza at Pinocchio’s Pizzzeria (while catching some of the movies on the big screen).
And overall saying goodbye to the Disney Magic until next time.
Day 8: Disembarkment
It is always sad saying goodbye. That last breakfast. Seeing the ship being cleaned and readied for the next group of travelers. Stepping into the luggage claim room, you knew your adventure has come to an end.
It is really not goodbye, it is a see you real soon!
After leaving the ship I had the harder of the goodbyes, to my family. My parents were extending their vacation and coming to visit us in Norway but my brother, sister, sister-in-law and all the rest of the family were headed back to Chicago. You will never realize how much you miss your siblings until you move half a world away from them.
