We spent this day at sea just relaxing. Naps and reading by the pool. Food and more food. Doing everything that you are supposed to do on a cruise.
Because there is not too much to share about this day I am going to give you an overall observation / comparison between the last cruise we took (Disney Alaska Cruise) and this one. I don’t know if this was just because of the cruise leaving out of Europe or what but the lines for meeting the characters were crazy long! This is our third Disney cruise and we have never seen it like this. We actually talked to some of the staff about this and they completely agreed that people were crazy about the character pictures on this cruise.
One thing we did find was that when there was not a professional photographer with the character the lines seemed to be much shorter. On one of the last days we ending up waiting in line for Goofy. First of all, I am going to say this was the best Goofy I have ever encountered. He was great! He ended up spending about ten minutes or so just with us doing tons of fun poses and joking around with my sister as I took pictures. The crew person that we assisting then offered to take pictures with my camera of all of us. It ended up being one of the highlights of our on-ship experience. We actually stood around for a while after watching him interact with other families. Pure entertainment.
